A NEW exhibition revisits a time of flowers and flares.

Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection, based in Bourton-on-the-Water, invites locals and visitors to the area to be transported back to 1967.

This year’s summer exhibition revisits the ‘Summer of Love’ based around the Land Rover Carawagon and will run until September 2017.

The Cotswold Motoring Museum takes visitors on a journey through its motoring and toy collections, from vintage and classic cars to motorcycles, caravans and other intriguing collections of motoring curiosities.

New for 2017 is the Cotswold Motoring Museum Hare, part of the Cirencester March Hare Festival which has been hand painted and decorated with decals in a flower-power theme synonymous with the swinging 60s.

The 5ft-tall sculpture sits outside the entrance and will be welcoming visitors until December.

The Cotswold Motoring Museum is open from 10am to 6pm seven days a week, from February to mid-December.
