THE Autistic Gardener visited Hereford to meet members of a popular gardening club.
Alan Gardner, award-winning garden designer and star of Channel 4’s The Autistic Gardener, visited Saxon Hall in Hoarwithy Road.
He met gardening volunteers from the National Autistic Society’s (NAS) Herefordshire branch.
The branch has just been awarded a grant from the National Garden Scheme (NGS) to help boost their popular gardening club for autistic adults.
Alan, who is an ambassador for the NAS, met members of the club and NGS representatives in the branch’s sensory garden.
He gave the branch advice on how gardens can thrive.
Alan, a gardener who has Asperger's syndrome, helps rescue people's unloved gardens during the TV series.
