THE people of Clun let their hair down for the town’s annual carnival.
It started with a procession of floats and vintage vehicles through the town at the end of which the Carnival Queen was crowned.
There were exhibitions and entertainment on Castle Meadow as well as at the Hightown Community Centre where there were horticultural, agricultural and home craft sections.
Clun Carnival takes place on the first Saturday of every August.
