LUDLOW Mayor Tim Gill has a host of goodies on offer in a ‘promises auction’ to raise money for his Mayoral Charity Citizens Advice.

As well as the chance to bid for a flight in a light aircraft, there is a skydive, a dancing lesson and visit to the theatre.

These are just a few of the prizes that well go under the hammer at Ludlow Brewery.

There are also private ballroom lessons, or boxing lessons . If that’s just not you there’s cake decorating or pottery lessons, or a pretty piece of jewellery from LA Jewellery in Ludlow.

Bidders can also secure nights out there are cinema tickets and tickets to see the Cherry Orchard Play at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, as well as tickets to Attingham Park in Shrewsbury for one of their summer open air film nights.

There is also a chance to keep warm with an alpaca knitted blanket made by the Ludlow Knit and Natter Group at the Ludlow Wool Shop as well as a chance to bid for a tour of Westminster Abbey, a visit to a Roman Baths or to visit the Ironbridge Gorge Museums.

The will Promises Auction is at Ludlow Assembly Rooms, starting at 7.30pm on Friday, April 27.

Guests will be welcomed by the Rockspring Choir, canapes and a complimentary glass of fizz. Tickets are £10 each and available from the Town Council Offices.
