The Furniture Scheme accepts donations of furniture and other items that could be needed in the homes of people who have very little.

It has played a big part in helping families blighted by domestic violence to get their lives back together.

Victims of domestic violence often leave the home where they are living with just the clothes that they are standing up in.

These will often by women who will also have children to care for in very difficult circumstances.

It is at this point that the Furniture Scheme can get involved by providing the distresses family with the basics that they need to get their lives back into some kind of order.

Terrance Round helps to repair and renovate furniture for the families that need help.

Any furniture that is repairable but that does not go to a family can be sold to raise funds for the scheme.
