WYCHBOLD First and Nursery School has joined the Rivers Multi-Academy Trust - a group of nine 'outstanding' and 'good' schools which work together to improve children's outcomes.
Schools in the Rivers Church of England Trust, which was established in 2014, collaborate and share best practice to support pupils to fulfill their maximum potential, ready for the next stage of learning.
Headteacher Claire Howitt said: "We are delighted to be joining the Rivers Multi-Academy Trust as the collaboration will bring so many benefits and opportunities to our school and our children.
"At Wychbold, we passionately believe in developing and nurturing children’s individual strengths and by becoming part of the academy we will have wider network of guidance and support to help us achieve this.
"Belonging to the academy will also challenge us further as we strive to provide the very highest quality experiences and outcomes for the children.”
Kate Brunt, CEO for the Rivers Trust, added: "We are delighted that Wychbold has joined our trust family.
"Over the past six months we have established some excellent working practices with fantastic results and this announcement formalises our partnership for the future.
"The children, staff and governors at Wychbold School are simply outstanding and I have no doubt that by continuing to work closely together, we will ensure that every child has an exciting and rewarding education.”
