A GARDEN fence was destroyed by a fire in Rednal in the early hours of this morning (Friday, June 22).
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Bromsgrove Fire Station were alerted to and attended the blaze in Kineton Road just before 3am.
The firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the flames which had engulfed two metres of fencing.
Late yesterday evening (Thursday), the Bromsgrove crew were joined by colleagues from West Midlands Fire Service to a blaze in the Rose Hill area.
They attended a fire at about 9.15pm involving felled trees and undergrowth, and used backpack extinguishers and beaters to put out the flames.
