A MUSICAL Kidderminster schoolboy hit the right notes when he was presented with a coveted Worcestershire-wide award for his work with other students.
Ryan Brunt, who is a Year 12 pupil at Baxter College, won a Tryangle Award – which recognise outstanding achievement in education, sport and working within the community.
The 17-year-old was nominated for the Arts and Music award by Baxter College for his exceptional contribution to the school both within the classroom and in extra-curricular settings.
A spokesman for Baxter College said: “We are very proud to have a 2018 Tryangle Award winner within our school.
“In particular, Ryan deserves praise for not only his excellent performance in this year’s show ‘School of Rock’, but also for the way that he gave up so much of his own time to coach and mentor the younger students involved.
“A thoroughly deserved award Ryan, well done from all of us at Baxter College!”
