WYRE Forest brainboxes are being challenged to test their knowledge and support a charity later this month.

Acorns Support Group for North Worcestershire has organised a special quiz night at Kidderminster Carolians Rugby Club on Marpool Lane, at 7.30pm on Friday, April 27.

The event is being held to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice, based in Worcester.

John Jenkins, chairman of the support group, said: “Following the success of our race night at the end of 2017, which raised £1,500 for Acorns, the quiz night is set to be one of our most popular events yet.

“People are invited to come along and test their knowledge in aid of this fantastic charity – and you also get a top quality fish and chip supper to help feed the brain.”

“Once again we are also grateful for the support from Kidderminster Carolians Rugby Club in providing the room for us to host the event.”

Tickets cost £10 – which includes the fish and chip supper – and teams of four to five people can purchase them from John Jenkins on 07803 153992 or jenkins-john@btconnect.com or Sadie Gill on 07984 674630 or brennansadie@live.co.uk
