DELAYS are expected on trains between Bromsgrove and Redditch and Birmingham after an ambulance was called at Longbridge train station.
The line was blocked at Longbridge and an ambulance was on site after a passenger was taken ill.
All lines have re-opened but National Rail has warned trains between Bromsgrove/Redditch and Birmingham New Street may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 40 minutes.
A spokesman said: "We anticipate disruption will continue until 6pm."
Residents affected can use their tickets on National Express West Midlands Buses on the following services:
Cross City South bus route numbers: 11A, 11C, 27, 45, 47, 49, X61, 63, 80 & 98.
Road transport has also been ordered to run between Redditch and Kings Norton, operated by Brit Coaches.
