WE now have Sardar Pappu Singh telling us that 23,000 people were duped by Malcolm Davis so I again say how dare he even suggest that we are unable to make up our own minds, neither are we bigots because we choose to oppose the mosque plan.
Malcolm did not run a filthy campaign against the Muslims building the mosque, the site was wrong and never intended for that type of building, it was for industry hence the reason for objections to it.
If the Muslim community wish to avoid further controversy they should find another site away from the Gateway to Dudley.
This plan was objected to by the people for genuine not racial reasons and his comments do not help his cause nor his reference to bigots, because one opposes the mosque. We wish to preserve the heritage and history of Dudley which has been eroded enough and the Gateway of Dudley is a good place to stop it being eroded further.
