I CANNOT understand for the life of me the letter in your June 7 issue by H Wood regarding baby signs.

Well H Wood, they are there for a reason to hopefully warn other drivers that there is a child in the back seat and if you speed and crash your car in the back of them then you have more chance of hurting the baby.

It is also a warning to let you know why the so-called young mothers as you put it are doing the speed limit and hopefully draw attention if you are speeding.

If you are a so-called experienced driver then I'd be worried driving on the same road as you because you obviously don't know your signs.

Take a refresher course H Wood and yes if you ever followed me I would call the police because someone that feels the need to follow young mothers must have another agenda. Sorry to upset you.
