DUDLEY and the surrounding area started to turn into what it is now after the Second World War when the then council destroyed places like Primrose Hill and similar places (where there were good solid communities) bit by bit with change, I regret not for the better. If we go back far enough in history we will find that many of our descendants were slaves, but it is not our desire to make people slaves today.
People do choose their own religion - there is no law to forbid that - and we can worship anywhere not necessarily in a building.
However planning laws are for buildings, any buildings, even our own homes have to abide by these laws.
I do however strongly object to Claire Westwood's remarks stating that elderly people do not know much better.
I don't know how old she is but I can assure her that this elderly lady and other elderly folk I know male and female definitely know better and look at all angles before deciding anything.
I would further add that I never saw Malcolm Davis' campaign leaflet but in this free land he is as entitled as any to his view or belief.
