REFERENCE the recent flooding all over the Dudley Borough on Friday June 15, which caused chaos to traffic flow and residents alike, could have had a less severe impact if the council did a periodic check on the road gullies.
Most are full to the brim with debris, leaves and rubbish etc which prevents the water from getting away. However, I believe the current status for gullying emptying vehicles is one only, which is never used.
If this is the case let's have some answers from the highways department why is this so?
