Political clap trap!

WE have a situation now in Dudley where political clap trap clearly dominates their reading.

The Dudley News headlines says it all! VICTORY on car parking charges at Russells Hall Hospital by Judy Foster and Ian Austin MP.

They must have their own heads up in the clouds so far they never noticed charges have actually been increased but of course we are used to Labour tricks like this, it's just down their street - they give you something with the one hand whilst the other is taking twice as much back.

The old charge of £2.50 for up to four hours has just been replaced by £1 one hour, £2 two hours, £3 for up to four hours and £5 all day.

There is either a misprint on the front page of this local paper or parking charges have once more been increased at Russells Hall.

To get a clear and honest picture of the local political scene we depend on the unbiased publishing of true facts and figures, unfortunately and rather sadly we don't appear to have either.

The charges at our local rip off hospital are as outrageous as ever and the way this has been published is an insult to our intelligence.

We should demand the right to be ill without cost and the astronomical amount of money this lot are intent is enough to make us feel a lot worse!! Whilst this is bad enough in its own right the habitual luring of people before their clinic is due should also be under close scrutiny.

It may be an interesting exercise if we had a poll of the people to find out just how long you have to wait, sometimes before your consultant is due to arrive. Modern day administration is all about convenience and cost - their convenience and our cost.
