Bring vandals before courts

THERE were conflicting reports in last week's Dudley News.

On the front page under the title `Parks in Ruin' - the continuing saga of vandalism on Dudley Parks that has ben going on for years.

In the inside pages under `Crime Drops Again' we learn that crime rates across the borough were continuing to plummet.

For many of us these self-praising reports will gain some credibility when the police bring the first park vandal before the courts.
