Where do pint-sized stars go on holiday?

LITTLE Max McQueen of Hollyoaks is only seven months old – so isn’t ready to make the decision himself yet... but dad Christopher didn’t have any hesitation.

"We’re going to my favourite childhood holiday destination," he said.

"Haven Holidays' Presthaven Sands in North Wales."

And it’s not just Max’s dad that has been going to Presthaven Sands since he was knee high to Haven’s favourite furry mascot Rory the Tiger but Max’s mum Hayley as well!

The two of them were regular visitors to the park when they were children although their paths never crossed.

"We really chuckled when we found out just how many times we’d nearly bumped into each as children," said 21-year-old Chris of Skelmersdale in Lancashire.

"Now it's really easy when it comes to choosing a holiday. All we have to decide on is a date that fits in with filming schedules."

Of course when you’re a very small celebrity you need a whole entourage of minders so a holiday includes not just mum and dad but grandma and grandad too so Max, real name Brayden Roy Haynes-Mawdsley, will have plenty of people to help ward off the paparazzi.

Chris said: "Last time we went on holiday we couldn’t believe how many people recognised him. He’s not up for signing autographs yet but he does a very nice hand-print.

"And loads of people wanted to have their photograph taken with him."

So what makes Presthaven Sands a great destination for an up and coming celebrity?

"We just love it. It’s got everything you want. Great entertainment, lots to do and a great beach. And it’s really child-friendly," says Chris.
