NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has appointed two replacement members to its board.

As of November 1, Dr Martin Lee took up the role of Secondary Care Doctor, taking over from Dr Steve Booth, while Alison Field took over the role of Practice Manager Representative from Clare Nock on December 1.

Dr Simon Rumley, chairman and clinical lead for NHS Wyre Forest CCG, said: “We’re pleased to welcome Martin and Alison onto the board.

“They have a wealth of knowledge and experience that they’re bringing with them and I’m looking forward to working with them as we look to take the organisation forward.”

Dr Rumley also paid tribute to the work Dr Booth and Mrs Nock did during their time on the board.

Wyre Forest CCG represents 12 constituent member GP practices and has a £127 million delegated budget covering acute hospitals, community services and prescribing services for a population of 112,000 people.
