HIGH-FLYERS will be getting a feast for foodies with a taste for global flavours off the ground at RAF Cosford.
Around 80 producers will be at the famous aircraft museum where military planes including a VC10 and a Hercules will provide a backdrop for the event.
Organisers are promising the best in midlands' food and drink with a host of new producers from the region on-board for this year’s festival, which takes place on Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24.
The event, which will be held at the museum in Shifnal, will also feature flavours from around the world with a menu including Indian, Italian and French cuisine plus a taste of the Caribbean as well as Cuban and Mexican food.
For visitors with a sweet tooth there will also be a selection of treats including traditional dairy ice creams, waffles, crêpes, milkshakes and smoothies.
Other attractions will include cookery classes, live music from the Cosford and Shawbury Military Wives Choir, pottery workshops, circus skills and face painting and a flypast by a Spitfire on Saturday.
