Dingley makes a splash in Gloucester

STOURBRIDGE Swimming Club are celebrating after bringing back almost a century of medals from the Gloucester Open.

The haul saw Stour named top club after 37 of their members competed over three days of racing.

A staggering number of personal best times were also achieved with several swimmers hitting the regional qualification mark.

Natalie Dingley was the golden girl of the weekend, winning gold in all six of her events.

Tom McCallum, also on top form, claimed five golds and three silvers.

Head coach Stewart Nicklin said: “This has been a fabulous weekend for the club. “Our swimmers fully deserve the hoard of medals and sensational number of personal best times they have achieved.

“All of these swimmers are focused and training well and these results are testament to the hard work and effort they have put in.”

Stourbridge are also currently on the look-out for new members.
