BOROUGH sports fans are facing an afternoon of frustration after the adverse weather decimated the fixture programme.
Stourbridge RFC’s derby clash with Bromsgrove at Stourton Park (3pm) is the only fixture to have survived the cold snap.
Dudley Kingswinford RFC, who also play in National League Two North, saw their game at Sheffield Tigers called off.
It’s a similar story in football where Gornal Athletic’s FA Vase clash with Cambridgeshire outfit Wisbech Town was called off yesterday, along with Causeway United’s derby against Tividale in the Midland Alliance.
Halesowen Town have been forced to call off their game with Stamford in Northern League Division One South, while Stourbridge FC’s trip to Banbury United in the Southern League Premier is also off.
Games at Dudley Sports and Cradley Town in the West Midlands Premier have been postponed.
