Kawasaki move on cards for Rutter

KINGSWINFORD'S Michael Rutter is being lined-up to ride a KMR Kawasaki in the Supertwin race at this year's North West 200.

Team chief Ryan Farquhar wants Rutter to ride one of his machines at the world famous road race in Northern Ireland.

Rutter, who already has a deal in place to race for the Honda Legends team this season, is no stranger to Farquhar.

Last season, Farquhar, Jeremy McWilliams and Rutter finished in a 1-2-3 in the inaugural Supertwin race at the North West 200 .

Rutter has enjoyed plenty of success at the North West 200 in his long career where he has 13 wins to his name.

Farquhar said: “Jeremy and Michael are up for the North West again and I’m talking to a few others as well.

“If it works out as I want it to I think we’re in with a massive shout of filling the podium again — it would be another fairytale for me.”
