KICKBOXER Jamie Beech is leaving nothing to the imagination where his shot at the Midland Area title is concerned.

The 28-year-old, pictured right, faces Jason Cooper for the ICO crown on March 24 in Birmingham and simply wants to “smash his opponent to pieces.”

Beech won a world title in continuous fighting last November but has since made the jump to full contact and has wasted little time in impressing, claiming victory in last month’s English championships.

He said: “The English Championships was an open tournament but the Midland Area fight is a chance to move up the rankings.

“I’ve had five fights and five wins at full contact. I’ve been putting a lot of training in and I’m planning to smash this guy to pieces.

“I want to be the best fighter I can be and win as many titles as I can.”

Beech has combined his training with running fitness “bootcamps” for the public at Wollaston’s Swanpool Park on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
