Mole unhappy with his Causeway side

CAUSEWAY United manager Andy Mole admitted his players disappointed him this week after failing to polish off Bolehall Swifts at the first time of asking in their FA Cup clash.
Twice Causeway led, but then let Bolehall back into the game on both occasions to finish with a 2-2 draw.
Mole said: “It certainly wasn’t an FA Cup performance by us and if I’m honest, Bolehall possibly deserved to win. I expected better from us.”
Goals from first-half substitute Jason Wellings and Aaron Lloyd kept Causeway in the tie but Mole will demand a marked improvement for this week’s replay, with the winners facing a trip to Evesham United on August 31.
Mole will be looking to chalk up some Midland Alliance points over the weekend when Causeway travel to Heath Hayes on Saturday followed by a home contest with Gornal Athletic on Bank Holiday Monday at The Grove.
Mole added: “I want maximum points from those two games especially in the light of how things have started.”
n Cradley Town turned the corner this week with a 2-0 win over Willenhall Town to register their first success in the West Midlands League.
It followed hefty defeats against Wednesfield and Black Country Rangers.
General manager Marcus McDonald said: “I knew it wouldn’t be long before things started turning around!
Cradley rode their luck in the first half, especially when Willenhall’s Paul Holden headed against the crossbar.
Second-half substitute Jimmy Welnitschuk put Cradley ahead before Chris Bladen clinched victory when converting Scott Devlin’s cross.
McDonald praised Devlin’s contribution.
He said “He’s really lifted the place to the point where we’ve made him captain”.
Cradley have signed central defender Matt Vaughan from Wolverhampton Sporting Community and have taken one-time Aston Villa youth team player Seb Jenkins on loan from Redditch United.
This Saturday, Cradley travel to Wellington Amateurs .
