HOTSHOTS have gone back on top of Stourbridge and District Snooker League’s Premier Division following a 4-1 success over Moor Pool & Snooker A while close rivals West Midlands Police slipped up.

Neil Beckley, Rob Howden, Dave Green and Milan Krstanovic, who had a 41 break, all won while Mike Richards took a consolation frame for Moor Snooker.

Only Gavin Sloan, with two breaks of 36, and Mark Sheenan could secure victories for the Police at home to Brandhall Labour.

As a result, Brandhall haven’t given up on the chase for honours, Callum Downing, with a 45 break, Alan Hooper and Karl Ashmore, who had a 46 break against his former team-mate Kev Franklin, causing the damage.

Norton Social A occupy third place after beating Kingswinford RBL 4-1 – the highlight being Steve Mason’s break of 80, which is the highest of the season so far, eclipsing Dave Green’s previous best of 76.

Danny Rees won the decisive frame as Pockets SC A came back to beat their B team 3-2.
