CYCLIST Jacob Tipper has recorded four race wins in four days in Milton Keynes.

The former Halesowen A & CC rider, who now races for KTM Road and Trail professional cycling team, took on the event from May 1 in preparation for his first big international stage race in Holland on Monday, May 21.

The rider from Kingswinford took the trip to Milton Keynes to first race the Abbeygate summer league at MK bowl. In poor conditions, Tipper took his first win convincingly from slightly weaker opposition.

The following day was stage one of the Corley Cycles three day tour of MK. With 80 strong starters this time racing again on the MK bowl Tipper took victory in a large bunch sprint to secure the stage.

Saturday contained stages two and three, first a 50 mile road race in which Tipper lost the overall lead with a break of 15 gaining 50 seconds advantage. He came back strong in the afternoon team time trial stage, racing along side a Corley Cycles composite tea. They took victory by six seconds over the nine mile stage.

Tipper spent the final stage working for composite team mate Will Goulbourne who was second overall. Once Tipper had spent many miles controlling the race assuring a bunch finish, he completed the weekend with his fourth win in four days.
