KINGSWINFORD’S Michael Rutter is now heading to the Isle of Man to compete in the TT races which start on Saturday.
He goes into the contest, which runs until June 6, in good form after last weekend's North West 200.
Rutter bagged two second and two sixth-placed finishes at the Northern Ireland event.
He had to settle for second behind winner Alastair Seeley in the first Superstock race after being overtaken on the last lap.
Rutter said: "In the big Superbike race I lead from the start, we just struggled to keep with the top three on the straights. We were running a superstock engine against factory superbikes so overall I’m really happy with the weeks qualifying and racing. We were front row in every class, it was pretty decent”.
