IT'S been a month to remember for Dudley Kingswinford Running Club's Ben Foster.

May has seen him record personal best times at 5k, 10k and now the half marathon distance.

He again pulled on the blue hooped vest last weekend and travelled south for the Tewkesbury Half Marathon - an iconic one lap around the country lanes surrounding the Gloucestershire town.

Having finished first in the Wolverhampton 5k Park Run just 24 hours earlier he knew he was in form and bagged a fifth place finish in 1.16.03.

Fellow club runner Matt Biggs also came back with a good finish from Tewkesbury with 1.24.42 in 19th place.

Sandwiched between the two DK men was another local athlete and former DK member, Rob Meredith, now running for Dudley and Stourbridge Harriers, who finished in 1.23.04 for 11th place.

Elsewhere, Graham Wildgoose set off to Hereford to take part in the Crocodile 8, a multi-terrain, eight mile race on road, grass and mud.

He was able to finish 57th in a field of 254 in 1.13.07, claiming a persona best for the distance.
