CRADLEY wrapped up their regular National League home fixtures in perfect fashion as they stormed to a 63-30 win over Devon at Monmore Green last night.

The flying Heathens put in another impressive display to emerge with a resounding win and ensure they extended their winning run to 15 meetings.

With the play-offs rapidly approaching and a mouth-watering Knockout Cup semi-final tie with Coventry next week, Cradley continued their rich vein of form with a comfortable triumph.

It was another tremendous night at the office for Will Pottinger's side despite the absence of Tom Perry due to Premier League commitments - and Pottinger was pleased with another strong showing.

He said: "It was an excellent team performance all-around again, and we were pleased to come away with another good win.

"Everyone won at least one race which was great to see, and as we head into the business end of the season confidence is high."

Steve Worrall stormed to a faultless maximum as he moved up to the No.1 spot, whilst he ended a superb evening by claiming the a National League Bronze Helmet from Luke Chessell.

He was partnered by teenage star Nathan Greaves for three of Cradley's seven 5-1s as the youngster stormed to a career-best 13+3 point haul on his return to the main body.

Returning reserve Danny Phillips picked up where he left off after his injury with a determined 10+2 point haul, whilst Matt Williamson also notched paid double figures in the lower order.

With Max Clegg adding a hard-fought ten points plus Paul Starke claiming two important wins to see off Devon tactical rides, the Heathens cruised to a comfortable win.
