ANDY Mole was encouraged despite Causeway United's 3-2 defeat against unbeaten Midland Alliance rivals Long Eaton United on Saturday.
Having gone ahead through Matty Gardener they fell 3-1 behind at halt time but hit back with Gardner’s second then almost snatched a point near the end through the same player, this time the bar denying him.
Speaking ahead of back-to-back home games against Shepshed (Saturday) and Brocton (Tuesday) Mole was in good spirits.
“In the end I’m perhaps disappointed not to get something when before it was a game I wanted to give a good account of ourselves,” said Mole. “Wins in our next games would get us back on track. Possibly we’re in a false position because the fixture list hasn’t been kind to us. It’s a case of us being patient now and the results will come.
Experienced defender Chris Charles has returned from Tipton Town and will likely start as will another capture from from Tipton, young striker Josh March. Aaron Lloyd misses out as he starts a three-match ban. Hugh Sproston could also return from a neck injury.
