NEIL Mitchell is targeting a win against Sedgley Park this Saturday to make sure the threat of relegation doesn't return for Stourbridge.

The Stourton Park outfit are now 12 points away from the dropzone but Mitchell wants to extend the gap sooner rather than later.

His task has been made easier now injury troubles have cleared at the club and he has more players to work with at training each week.

He said: "Sedgley have been strong this season and picked up some really good wins at home. It won't be easy for us but we have to go there and build on our first half performance against Amptill.

"I don't want the threat of relegation to come back so it would be good to start picking up a few more wins.

"We have a decent record at Sedgley, did well there last season and will go there confident.

"I had 23 players at training on Tuesday after we had a free weekend last Saturday, that's the most I've had all season.

"It bodes really well, especially because we have a few tough games ahead when we face a lot of the teams above us.

"It hopefully also means we will start to improve our fitness levels and will have more in the tank towards the end of games."
