DUDLEY Sports manager Tony Gore thinks the club's remaining fixtures will hand them a good opportunity to secure a top ten finish.

The club's four game unbeaten run was ended last Saturday when they lost 3-2 away to Ellesmere Rangers.

However, they will now face the two teams that surround them in the league. Black Country Rangers, who are one place below them in 10th, will be their opposition on Bank Holiday Monday before they travel to eighth placed Haughmond the following Saturday.

"We will be facing some difficult games during the run-in but it is a chance for us to cement that spot in the top ten," said Gore.

"We now need to start a new unbeaten run. We have a good chance because performance levels have been good."

Against Ellesmere, Gore was left to rue missed opportunities and poor discipline following the defeat.

Sports were 2-1 ahead after goals from Craig Tibbetts and Liam Williams before the dismissals of Scott Sumner and Luke Williams handed the initiative to the hosts.

"We had the chances to win the game and also missed a penalty," said Gore. "Add that to the fact we had two men sent off then I feel we let Ellesmere off the hook a little.

"The performance was good but we didn't help ourselves."
