CAUSEWAY United highlighted their progress with a 2-2 draw against Kirby Muxlow in their last home game of the season.

Mark Jones' men have enjoyed a pleasing end to the campaign and again displayed their potential at The Grove last Saturday.

Twice they took the lead against fifth-placed Kirby before being pegged back.

United's Sam Beasley opened the scoring on 20 minutes before the visitors levelled eight minutes later through Michael Reeve.

The in-form Joshua Thomas March again edged the hosts ahead in the 54th minute.

However, Muxlow again didn't take long to respond when Pradeep Bahrey found the back of the net just two minutes later as honours ended even.

The draw saw United bounce back well after a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of third-placed Long Eaton the Tuesday before.

Michael Armstrong, Ben Gowling and Bradley Wells all netted to hand Causeway their first defeat in five games.

Their final game of the season sees them travelling away to face Continental Star this Saturday.

They will be hoping to end on a high to cap an impressive period since boss Jones took over mid-way through the season.
