RYAN 'Tank' Aston blasted Nathan Graham out in round four of their English title eliminator fight at Wolverhampton Civic Hall tonight.

The Dudley fighter landed a powerful blow midway through the fourth round before forcing the referee to step in and call a halt to the contest by landing a flurry of punches with his opponent against the ropes.

Tank wasted no time in ending the bout as soon as he sensed Graham was rocked.

Before then it had been a tentative start to proceedings from both men, with Aston perhaps just a little wary of putting too much into the early rounds as he did when losing on points as his stamina was pushed to the max when he last appeared under the Civic lights against Jason Welborn.

However, that sort of a stamina test was never to come into it as Aston powered past his opponent to put that Welborn defeat well and truly behind him.

His attention will now turn to a tilt at the English light-middleweight title, currently held by Nav Mansouri.

Meanwhile, there were also wins on the night for fellow Priory Park men Les Byfield and Josh Miller.

Byfield bagged the win on points by 40-35 after four rounds against Michael Strupart.

He floored Strupart in the second with a clubbing right hand before cutting his opponent with another shot and finishing strong.

Miller, making his paid bow, started the evening's action with a 40-36 success against Ian Jackson.

Rowley Regis' Tyler Denny also tasted success with a 40-35 points win over James Conroy.
