LYE Town's four-game game unbeaten run came to an end with a narrow defeat at Sporting Khalsa last Saturday.
Town lost the clash 1 - 0 after Craig Bannister struck for the hosts early in the second half.
Lye's chances of getting back in the contest were dealt a massive blow when recent signing Dreniz Bala was dismissed for a racial comment to the referee.
Khalsa keeper Charlie Price, on loan from Stourbridge, then pulled of a string of fine saves in the closing stages.
Chairman Brian Blakemore now wants his side to bounce straight back when they host Shepshed Dynamo this Saturday.
He said: "We were on a really good run which highlighted that we are starting to find our consistency.
"The game against Khalsa was very close and could have gone either way. We now need to move on quickly and get back to winning ways.
"The sending off did change the game a little but we still kept battling on and it was only Charlie Price that kept them ahead."
Meanwhile, the club have secured a deal for Cradley forward Adam Meecham and have also brought in Tipton right back Tom Rann.
