DUDLEY Town’s losing run stretched to three games with defeat at Ellesmere Rangers last Saturday.

The Robins sit third from bottom of the West Midlands Premier League just above local rivals Gornal Athletic and Dudley Sports.

They lost 3-1 away at fifth-placed Ellesmere as they failed to bounce back after defeats against leaders Haughmond and mid-table side AFC Bridgnorth in recent weeks.

Manager Andy Allardice’s men will look to kick-start their season when they welcome Wellington Amateurs to the Dell this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

Amateurs sit just one place above Town in the league and are just one point ahead.

Dudley will face a break from league action next Tuesday when they go to Racing Club Warwick in the Birmingham Mid-week Floodlit Cup.
