HALESOWEN Town have completed the loan signings of Jordan Wheatley and Cash Wallace from Vanarama National League North side Nuneaton Town.

Defender Jordan Wheatley was previously with Ilkeston Town where an injury against the Yeltz last March ruled him out for that season, but he has now returned to full fitness.

Cash Wallace is an American defensive midfielder previously on the books of Reading, Arsenal and Birmingham City.

Manager John Hill was quick to bring in defensive cover after learning that an injury to Liam Slade may mean that the player is out longer than he had first hoped.

The boss was also quick to reinforce his squad after six key departures this week.

Halesowen's attacking options were first hit by the exit of top scorer Kaiman Anderson, who went back to parent club Shrewsbury after another successful loan spell at the club. That was soon followed by George Bowerman departure for Rushall Olympic.

Jordan Goddard has also left for Leamington, goalkeeper John Bateman has returned to AFC Wulfrunians, George Cleet has gone to Sutton Coldfield and Malcolm Melvin has left the club after finding first team starts hard to come by since the turn of the year.

The Yeltz have been strengthen further, however, with the news that youngster Kartel O’Neill has been promoted from the youth team.
