DUDLEY Town boosted their survival chances with victory over local rivals Dudley Sports last night.
The Robins won 2-1 at Hillcrest Avenue to stretch the gap to six points from third-from-bottom side Sports.
Town opened the scoring after 23 minutes before doubling their advantage 20 minutes from time.
Matt Perry netted with just seven minutes left on the clock for Sports but the home side couldn't find a way back.
Sports still have two games in hand on their rivals and will look it hit back when they welcome Pegasus Juniors on Saturday.
Town, meanwhile, will host Haughmond at the Dell.
