Lye Town 9 Leamington 0
LYE ladies’ patchy league form took an upwards turn with a dominant display against bottom of the table Leamington.
Despite missing several first team regulars through injury and illness, Lye found themselves 4-0 up at the break through a Katie Priest penalty, two from Rhiannon Bate, and one from Hannah Boxley.
Bate added two further goals in the second half, with the others coming from Rachel McGowan, Sarah Harvey and Chloe Handy.
Lye welcome Wolves to Stourbridge Road this Tuesday (December 5) for a rearranged County Cup fixture, and then travel to Bedworth United on Sunday (December 10).
