UNLUCKY Lye Town missed out this week when losing 3-1 at second placed Coleshill Town in the Midland League Premier.
Lye boss Craig Harris claimed: "We played well and came away wondering just how we didn't get something out of the game."
Sam Tye gave Lye a flying start when firing them in front after just four minutes.
But goals from Reece Leek and Matt Gardner put Coleshill in the driving seat by half time.
Leek then lashed home a third goal late in the game and Harris confirmed: "We were pushing forward by that stage and had gone to three at the back, when we got caught on the break.
"I was really annoyed we didn't get anything and was in such a bad mood when I got home that my wife sent me back out again."
Harris has added former Stafford Rangers and Chasetown utility player Jermaine Johnson to his squad who should feature when Lye entertain Westfields at Stourbridge Road this Saturday.
And Harris quipped: "J J is one of those players who can play anywhere. He's one that puts his hand in the bag and whichever number he pulls out, he puts on!"
