DUDLEY Town came from behind to earn a valuable draw at Wellington last Saturday.

Jordan Davies fired in a second half equaliser as the Robins shared the spoils with a battling 1-1 draw.

The point pleased boss Dean Whitehouse as Town made it three games unbeaten to give their survival fight another boost.

They also had coach Paul Hughes in goal after regular number one Brendan Healy picked up an injury.

Whitehouse said: "We did well, especially in the second half.

"We weren't great in the first but improved in the second, dug in and deserved a draw in the end.

"We also came from behind so had to show a bit of character.

"The young lads are getting used to the standard now and are moving the ball quicker and are getting better with every game."

Dudley are due to face Shifnal Town away on Tuesday night before welcoming Wolverhampton Sporting to the Dell this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Sporting game is the start of eight consecutive home games to end the season for the Robins.

James Bland is the only injury concern for Whitehouse after he picked up a knock against Wellington.
