DAVE King is delighted he's not facing a rebuilding job at Tividale this summer.

The boss at the Beeches has managed to secure the services of the majority of last season's squad and only wants to add two or three new additions once pre-season gets underway this weekend.

He said: "Around 90 per cent of the squad have committed to next season and we all want to give it another go.

"It is really refreshing and it must be the first time so many have stayed on. They have been very loyal and it means we don't need to add much more, which is a great place for us to be.

"I'm feeling refreshed despite only having a short break and we're really looking forward to getting going again.

"We'll have a look at a few trialists once pre-season starts just to add a little more quality if possible but that's about it."

King was approached about taking the vacant Lye Town job at the end of May but was also quick to follow his players by committing to Tivi. Dale have now brought in former Wellington Amateurs manager Steve Barrow as a first team coach to assist King and his backroom team.
