MANAGER Tony Gore is again facing a summer rebuilding job at Dudley Sports.

Sports have lost a host of last season's squad, including top scorer Ronee Hendricks to Racing Club Warwick.

Other players to move on are Matt Hanson, Jack Bailey, Joe Billingham and Connor Rich.

Gore is again frustrated with the amount of players he needs to find in time for the new campaign.

He said: "It has been really tough again. We've had a lot of departures and it's another case of having to rebuild.

"It happens every season but it would just be nice if I could come back one year and not have to completely rebuild it.

"No matter how loyal you have been to players they always move on.

"We ended the season really well last season and had hoped to kick on from there."

Gore is now working hard to bring in the players he needs and assessed a number of trialists during last Saturday's first pre-season friendly.

Sports drew 2-2 with Tipton Town and will now take on AFC Wulfrunians at Hillcrest Avenue next Tuesday (July 24).

Gore added: "It was a really pleasing game for us against a side that is two or three weeks ahead of us.

"We have got several players in and had a look at a few more trialists and at least it looks like everything is starting to come together.

"We still need one or two more and we'll keep looking for the right people."
