TIVIDALE boss Dave King is confident he can keep his strikeforce happy when the season gets underway.

Dale boast a wealth of attacking options ahead of the new West Midlands Premier League campaign.

Demetri Brown (2), Dan Smith and Tyree Clarke all netted in Tivi's 4-2 friendly success over Studley last Saturday.

King also has Rion Francis-Mills and latest edition Jake Brigdale to call on in attack this term.

He said: "We rotated the squad last season and that worked really well.

"It's good to have the options and to have people fighting for places. Hopefully we'll be able to give them all time on the pitch as we also have the option of changing our system to get more of them in the side." King is again pleased to have Brown leading the line and was happy with his pre-season double last weekend.

"It's up to other people to talk about how good he his but I know everyone at the club are all very happy to have him here," added the boss.

Youngster Brigdale boosted the forward line further after arriving from Stourbridge.

On the Studley game, King said: "It was another good workout for us and I'm really pleased with how everything is progressing.

"We know play Stourport this weekend, which will be a really good test for us, and then Gornal Athletic.

"By then we should be ready for the new season."
