DUDLEY middleweight Jamie Ball will take a step closer to a title shot when he returns to the ring in September.

Undefeated Ball will go in search of his 11th win when he appears at PJ Rowson’s next Sunday lunchtime show in Wolverhampton on September 5.

The 26-year-old has been promised a title fight by the end of the year and needs no motivation after seeing fellow Dudley fighters Chris Male and Richie Ghent snap up British Masters crowns last month.

Big-punching welterweight Jason Welborn is poised to return to action for the first time in 14 months, while the main event sees Ghana's Philip Kotey, a top contender for Denton Vassell's Commonwealth crown, fight in the United Kingdom for the first time against Sweden's Olympic star Patrick Bogere.

The vacant International Masters welterweight belt will be on the line over 10 rounds.

For tickets to this 'First Team Promotions' show, call the call the box office on 0870 320 7000 or promoter PJ Rowson on 07976 283 157.

The show will also be broadcast online live on pay-per view at a cost of just £2.99, through Hatton TV.
