League kicks off 47th campaign

THE 47th season of the Dudley and Cradley Heath Football League kicks off on Sunday with Hope Tavern, Bush Athletic and Team Netherton again looking for honours in the Premier Division.
King William (Waggon FC) will be seeking to continue last year’s success after winning promotion from Division One, while Pensnett United have re-formed and will once again be a strong outfit.
With seven new teams in Division One all hoping to establish themselves, Barley Mow Wanderers, Ocker Hill Waggon and Forest Falcons could provide the suprises.
The league is also looking for referees so anyone intrested should contact Keith Andrews on 01384-886923.
Fixtures — Premier Division: Yew Tree v FC Baggeridge; Dudley v Glasscutters; Lloyds v Three Crowns; Spills Meadow v Hope Tavern; Team Netherton v King William; Bush Athletic v Pensnett Utd.
Division One: Dudley Olympic v Halesowen Members; Hadcroft Rovers v Britannia; Ruiton Harriers v Barley Mow Wanderers; Sedgley White Lion v Malt Shovel Athletic; Tenth Lock v Dudley Utd; Village Dudley v Forest Falcons; Wordsley Wasps v Ocker Hill Waggon.
