Rollinson strike seals final berth

Dudley and Cradley Football League.

Montys made it through to the final of the Thornleigh Freight Trophy with a single goal victory over Lodge Farm.

Shane Rollinson scored the match-winning goal.

Wrens Nest and Park Inn shared eleven goals in the Premier Division encounter. Park Inn came back from being 4-1 down at the break to record a memorable 6-5 win.

Goals for Wrens Nest came via a Kieran Bennett hat-trick, with Jason Turner and Chris Bayliss also got on the scoresheet.

Anthony Penn bagged four in reply for Park Inn and with David Smith and Jonathan Tudge on target they picked up all three points.

Dwayne Brown picked up a brace to help Dudley FC defeat Caves 4-0.

Luke Moulton and Lance Flavell picked up second half goals to add to Brown's double.

Gornal Baggeridge were too strong for Hurst Hill Tavern, while Netherton Liberals ran out 4-2 winners over Dudley Borough.

Sedgley Courthouse were 5-0 victors over Cottage Spring Celtic in their Division One encounter.

Ed Taylor picked up a hat-trick Steve Davies and Nathan Hartland adding to the scoreline.

Bushwackers secured a 3-1 away win at Netherton Crown.

A Gary Mills double put Bushwackers on the way and an Aaron Freeman strike helped to ensure the win.

Stuart Angel scored a consolation for Crown Netherton.

Ten Arches picked up their second successive win to lift them another league place.

The 1-0 win over Servo Steels saw them leapfrog their opponents and they now lie third from bottom.

Lee Chilton bagged a hat-trick as league leaders Dudley Bush defeated Netherton Liberals Reserves 3-0.

Coseley Jockey edged a 2-1 result against Short Heath whilst Tividale Knights defeated The Gate 2-0.
