Pensnett United were made to work hard to secure a place in the final of the Stanton Trophy.

The Premier Division high-flyers were pushed all the way by lower league opponents Coseley Jockey.

Stuart O'Farrell scored the only goal of the game to see Pensnett lead 1-0 at the break.

Jockey pushed on in search of the equaliser throughout the second half but to no avail.

Dudley Bush Old Boys closed to within a point of lifting the Division One title.

A 12-0 scoreline over the Gate means that Bush take the title if they can pick up points against Bushwackers this Sunday.

Netherton Liberals Reserves lost out to Sedgley Courthouse in a nine-goal thriller.

Liberals were 2-1 up at the break but lost out to their opponents 5-4.

Darrell Smith scoring a brace for Libs Rob Hubble and Luke Wilkes also adding.

Courthouse were on target with strikes from Dean Williams (2) Steve Davies(2) and John Davies.

In the Premier Division Dudley Borough defeated Dudley FC 3-0.

Ashley Brahams collected a brace for Borough, Ryan Spittle was also on target.

Caves proved too strong for Park Inn as they bagged six goals without reply.

The game went flat following an early second-half injury to a Montys player who was taken to hospital.

Wrens Nest seem to be back to winning ways this time with a 4-0 defeat of Netherton Liberals.

In the Harry Downing Trophy Cottage Spring Celtic edged a 2-1 win over Servo Steels.

Crown Netherton were victorious with the 4-2 defeat of Short Heath.

Hurst Hill Tavern secured a victory with a 4-3 penalty shout out victory over Bushwackers following a 0-0 draw.
