Old Boys clinch league crown
Dudley and Cradley Football League.
Dudley Bush Old Boys collected the first title of the season after clinching the Division One crown.
Bush who have only dropped two points and remain unbeaten in the league picked up the title following a 5-2 victory over rivals Bushwackers.
Justin Hughes collected Bush's first goal.
A second half hat-trick from Dan Bishop put the home side out in front.
Lee Chilton also cashed in as Bush started the celebrations.
Aaron Freeman and Anthony Parkes replied for Bushwackers.
Short Heath travelled to Servo Steels and picked up a 2-1 win.
The Gate put aside last weeks 12-goal defeat to record a 5-2 away win at Ten Arches.
Premier Division action saw Montys remain in contention for the league title following their 6-2 win at Gornal Baggeridge.
Caves secured victory over Netherton Liberals with the home side running out 5-2 winners.
The Harry Downing Trophy group four game between Tividale Knights and Cottage Spring Celtic saw Celtic pick up a 3-1 win.
The win provided Celtic with a semi-final spot as Group winners.
The days only other game provided Pensnett United with a 2-0 group one win over Lodge Farm.
Easter week sees the League hold the prestigious AM 2 PM Dudley Guest Hospital Cup Final.
The game will take place on Tuesday March 25 at Tividale FC, Packwood Road, (7.30pm kick-off) competing in this years final will be Dudley Borough and Wrens Nest.
