Big win keeps Dudley third
Dudley and Cradley Football League.
Dudley FC took three points with a 5-1 victory over Lodge Farm to keep them third in the top flight.
Luke Moulton collected a brace for Dudley and with Adam Raybould, Nathan Cameron and Paul Yates adding to the tally, Dudley were rarely troubled.
Kieran Sneed replied for Farm and a mid-table finish will be all that they can hope for.
Montys missed a big chance to put pressure on Pensnett United as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Caves.
With two games to play the title may well go to the last game when Montys play Dudley FC.
However, the championship may well be decided next Sunday when Montys take on Pensnett United.
A win for Pensnett will see them take the title.
Park Inn and Dudley Borough battled out a 3-3 draw in the Premier Division's other game of the day.
In Division One promotion looks certain for Sedgley Courthouse after a 5-4 win over Cottage Spring Celtic ensured them the runners-up spot.
Chris Davies started the ball rolling for Courthouse, before Dean Williams bagged a hat-trick and Tom Bayliss got one.
Cottage were not going to be pushovers and strikes from Ashley Snape, Lee Perks, Geoff Ford and Dan Woodworth ensured Courthouse had to fight for the points.
Tividale Knights hit six past Crown Netherton.
Kevin Holland scored a hat-trick, while Ben Jones and Ben Round added with keeper Wes Warringer also scoring.
Crown hit back with goals from Carl Wilson(2) and Stuart Angel.
Netherton Liberals Reserves took on Servo Steels and picked up a 4-2 away win.
In the Harry Downing Trophy the Gate FC secured a win following a 2-2 draw with Short Heath, before holding their nerve to win the penalty shoot out 4-3.
Pensnett United rattled six past Gornal Baggeridge to secure a 6-1 win with Bushwackers picking up a 4-1 result against Coseley Jockey.
Tomorrow (Friday) evening will see Dudley Bush Old Boys take on Netherton Liberals Reserves in the Dalley Cup Final
The game will be held at Dudley Sports and kicks-off at 7.30pm.
